What is ABAPConf?

ABAPConf is a conference focused on the SAP full stack developer. ABAP developers are full stack developers. In the past, the UI were transactions, reports and Dynpros. The UI is now Fiori (Elements). ABAPConf covers the ABAP backend and the UI delivered by it. ABAPConf is for every ABAP developer and for every modern SAP developer: writing ABAP and delivering Fiori apps.

How do I join the conference?

The focus of ABAPConf 2026 is to be an online event. All you need to join is to watch the live stream on YouTube. There is also an on-site location available: Mafinex in Mannheim, sponsored by Brandeis Consulting. If you want to join us on-site: registration is mandatory. While we plan to offer the general admission to the conference for free, you’ll have to pay for your own food and drinks.

Are there early bird tickets available?

No. First, the main focus will be the online experience. For any on-site participation, we will only provide the location. It is up to you to organize your trip and any to cover any expenses. We plan to offer tickets for the on-site participation for free (genral admission), yet you might have to pay for your own food and drinks.

Does ABAPConf charge a fee?

No. Participation is for free. You do not have to pay anything for participating online via YouTube. For everyone that participates on-site in Mannheim, Mafinex: admission is for free. You’ll have to pay for your food and drinks.

What about Watch Parties?

Great! Do it! Host one! Get in touch with us and we will put your watch party on the official watch party list. We definitely support this.

Is this only for Europe?

No. Everyone is welcomed to participate, onsite or online. As we are from Europe, there is a strong focus on Europe: locations, start time, etc. Everyone can join us online through the live stream. Just be aware that the time zone of the event is CEST.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes.

Will there be sessions in English?

Yes. In fact, as always, most sessions will be in English. We plan to offer sessions also in German.

Do you have a code of conduct?

Yes. ABAPConf is a professional event, so please act accordingly. Please read our Code of Conduct to get all the information needed.

Is this an SAP event?

ABAPConf follows its own manifest: by developers, for developers. And we stay truth to our ideas: this is not an SAP event, it is organized by ABAP enthusiasts. The ABAP Team at SAP is supporting us with session content. We are happy with this, and so is the SAP side.
